Already we are missing the Vancouver vibe.

Flying to east Canada yesterday had a bit of an empty feeling. We had a remarkable time in a few short days, but are now keen to see whether the west coast vs east coast rivalry was founded in fact.

Toronto first impressions:  very high density housing areas, lots of high rise in the inner city, Downtown Toronto where our accommodation is needs a good freshen up, but the history appears to be very interesting. The self-catering apartment is a challenge, but Murray managed under basic cooking conditions to produce a very palatable stir fry dinner.

Spotted a very different childcare centre from those back home….pick ups were mainly on push bikes, and the inner city building was jammed packed on to a busy street corner.  Guess kids get learning in all sorts of forms.
