With only 42 (yes HitchHiker fans will get this) sleeps until LSM and I head off again to escape the westerly winds which inevitably blow a flu epidemic in to Brisbane in August, we are gearing up for more memory-making moments.
The only downside has been the absolute disappointment that my original walking buddy Jennifer Wills broke her ankle in Spain and is slowly recovering from DVT as well back on the Gold Coast. Would love to be chasing Celtagia (Celtic Nostalgia) with you Jenny!
So LSM has stepped in and agreed to be my travel buddy/driver…..note the word walker is missing.
So with preparations well underway, our excitement is building…..now to get the fitness up and budget finalised.

I waited until the winter solstice and 42 had passed before I answered.
Your trip sounds amazing and I wait for the posts. Malta is left field, but bring it on. I hope Ireland blesses you with fine weather because the wild Atlantic can be a cruel mistress.
We are off to our winter beach holiday and it can’t come quickly enough. The kids are over it. I’ve just had a work experience year 10 student in the room and she was charming, so the kids will miss her too. Uninterrupted reading here I come.
