Just getting prepared in anticipation of late 2022 Travlyn to the UK and Paris hopefully…..this outlines my house/pet sitting portfolio. Dear prospective House Sit Seeker

As well as sharing my background with you at a pre-sit meeting either face to face or via Zoom, to make a pet/house sit as smooth as possible, and not forget important information, I like to provide the following checklist and share my contact details.  Thank you for putting your trust in me.

Pet:

.  The name of the pet/s, daily routine, any medications, grooming needs, walking (for dogs)

.  The contact details of your vet and any pet insurance details in case of emergencies

.  Food requirements, fussy brands/habits, volumes, drinking etc

.  Litter tray changing details

.  Is the pet/s able to be left during the day for time to go shopping or for a walk etc?

.  Pet sleeping arrangements – for restful sleep for all, no pets on my bed

.  How often do you want updated images?

.  In case of escape?

House:  Your contact details while away please

.  Locking and unlocking

.  Mail collection – do you want photos of the mail envelopes?

.  Is there unlimited wifi access?  As I work remotely this is an important need for me

.  Operating instructions for tv, microwave etc –

.  Watering of plants?

.  Any gardening needs?

.  When do the bins go out?

.  Are you expecting any deliveries or tradesmen?

.  Is there a neighbour or local family member or friend who has a key to the house?

.  Any special instructions?

.  I supply my own bed linen, pillow and food, and car.  No payment on either side is expected, but a post-sit review is appreciated.

.  Hannah Skerman – Middle Ridge, Toowoomba  – “Just wanted to leave a review of Molly B who recently house sat for us while we were away.  She was absolutely incredible looking after our house and 2 dogs.  Nothing was too much trouble, daily updates and we have already booked her for our next trip.  She is a genuine person and just made the experience so easy and gave us no reason to worry at all.  Highly recommend getting in touch with her if you need someone reliable, nice and super easy to deal with.” Have been asked back fir the fourth sit in early December.

. Kait Moore – Molly has often sat with our dogs and current cat Alli over the years, and is reliable, tidy, obliging and very responsible.

Looking after rescue horses and cats was a delight. Learnt lots and built enough confidence with the horses to take a few riding lessons as well. Lots of return sits with Peppa and Pickles made my heart sing.

Looking forward to a UK experience soon.
