Trinity Rose and Friends

Just discovered this delightful Aladdin’s cave of local Australian quality crafted wares. As I stepped through the door in to this beautifuly appointed street level shop in Matilda House on the corner of Russell and Station Streets, I was mesmerised by the vibrant geometric designs in the reception area. A very colourful welcome indeed.

Life for small crafty business people (mainly women) has been tough! Trinity Rose and Friends provides a network for sharing display space, making new friends, appreciating the talents and creativity of others and a cosy cuppa after the fun of its workshops. Networking at its best!

Having a number of craftspeople offering their wares in the one place is a definite bonus for market lovers. The advantage of inner city convenience just up the road from the refurbished Russell Street precinct, and in the cool upper section where Tinker, the Irish Club Hotel, Betros and tempting cafes abound, means there is plenty to attract browsers and gift-buyers alike ro this area……and plenty of parking in front, around the corner or across near the Railway Station is a bonus.

With Christmas gift buying high on the agenda, I was lucky enough to catch and save the date for this Saturday 27th November from 6.30-8.30pm for the VIP Christmas Shindig– so much more than just stocking fillers – great quality and value. Shop local! Shop weather safe! Shop away from the sameness of the malls.

With this much talent in the one place, you are sure to find something for all ages and tastes.

The six stockists currently in the shop are Tinker’s Alex Stalling and her funky ear rings; Fabu Couture sewing – mother and 10 year old daughter Isabella partnership; Dragon and the Unicorn; Utopia Homewares; Trinity Rose Creations and Missy’s S Sweet Soy Candles. What a wonderfully diverse range of hand crafted wares to choose from.

Trinity Rose believes in giving back to the community, and the occasional stalls and events at open markets or people ‘liking’ Tony’s Community Kitchen online have resulted in donations to help others. Locals supporting Locals is what Toowoomba is noted for.

Trinity Rose and Friends needs to be on Santa’s stopping list, and definitely on yours.
